Jakarta, Aug 13 (ANTARA) - Corruption suspect Muhammad Nazaruddin was formally handed over to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) at 11.05pm on Saturday after his arrival from Bogota, Colombia, earlier that day.
The handing over by the police took only five minutes marked by the signing of handing over documents and after that Nazaruddin was taken back into the KPK office for further questioning.
Nazaruddin was caught in Bogota, Colombia, on Monday after being on the run for two and a half months and was named corruption suspect by KPK.
He left Indonesia on May 23 or a day before a travel ban was issued for him.
